# Edit Character Misc

This endpoint allows you to update miscellaneous civilian character data inside ImperialCAD.This endpoint allows you to update general civilian character information inside ImperialCAD.

This is intended for integrations that need to update missing/deceased status or store custom framework-specific metadata against a civilian character.

### Request Body

All values are replaced, sending a empty value or not sending it at all will set those values to empty.

| ------------------- | ------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| `commId`            | string  | Your ImperialCAD community ID                              |
| `users_discordID`   | string  | The Discord ID of the user who owns the character          |
| `ssn`               | string  | The SSN of the character being updated                     |
| `data`              | object  | Object containing miscellaneous character fields to update |
| `data.Missing`      | boolean | Whether the character should be marked as missing          |
| `data.Deceased`     | boolean | Whether the character should be marked as deceased         |
| `data.MetaString1`  | string  | Custom string metadata field for third-party integrations  |
| `data.MetaString2`  | string  | Custom string metadata field for third-party integrations  |
| `data.MetaBoolean1` | boolean | Custom boolean metadata field for third-party integrations |
| `data.MetaBoolean2` | boolean | Custom boolean metadata field for third-party integrations |
