Changelog

This is where all updates that take effect in ImperialCAD are viewed.

1. ImperialCAD — v1.6.0,

   The day has come! The release of our new version of ImperialCAD! Many new features have made it as well as bug fixes and I am so excited to announce the changelog below:

   Forms Overhaul — Forms Page,

   • Re-designed the UI. Still pretty much the same but different layout.,

   • Able to review submitted forms that are pending review on the "Home" tab.,

   • Introducing 12 new reports which include: Search Warrant, Crash, Admin per Se, Tow Sheet, Trespass, Contact Data, CVE, Use of Force, DUI, Supplement, Missing Persons, and Property Damage.,

   • View this video on how to fill out a form with the changes below.,

   • Able to export any form that is open, submitting approval, or closed.,

   • Able to view any form if it is open, submitting approval, or closed.,

   • Able to un-submit a form that has already been submitted for approval.,

   • Status bar will now include your agency and callsign.,

   • Feedback will now automatically include the approving officer's name and callsign/identifier.,

   • Pinning Forms is now an option. When you first launch the page, it will let you view all forms. You can click the Pin icon which will then pin your forms to the top. Once you re-load the page, it will automatically show you your pinned forms.,

   • Auto-populate Form has been introduced. This means that if you are filling out an arrest report but also need to fill out a citation, you can utilize the arrest report, press "Auto-Populate Form", select the "Citation" option and it will fill out the fields that were available from the Arrest report you had already filled out. Another example of this in use is if you had a crash report and there was more than two traffic units, you can fill out the first crash report completely then auto-populate another crash report. Ensure you have not submitted the report if you would like to auto-populate a form.,

   • Forms will no longer require fields to be completed. Validation errors has changed to Validation warnings meaning that a form can be submitted even if you have validation warnings.,

   • Officers can import the following through the Quick Actions bar when writing a report: Returns, Current Call, and Charges. Returns will include the ones you search and the ones that are attached to your calls. It can only be DMV/MVD records. You have to be attached to a current call for the "Import Current Call" to work.,

   • Reports are not automatically saved anymore. It will require an manual save by either pressing the "Save" button or pressing "Save and Validate".,

   Supervisors for Law Enforcement,

   • Agency Statistics are now available for all supervisors to view when clicking on the Supervisor Panel,

   • Able to view all department reports which provides the option to export or send the reports back.,

   • Supervisors who approve a report will now show up on the report when viewing all agency reports.,

   • Unit Statistics has been re-worked to include a bit more additional information. Now able to view the unit's latest report and all their reports.,

   Data Migration Assistant,

   • For updates that will require data changes, we have introduced our data migration page which allows data administrators or the owner to migrate the data of their community to fit the current update.,

   • Customers have already been explained how the page works. If you are an owner, please review ⁠┃customer-announcements and ⁠┃customer-guide for more information.,

   • If for some reason some data does not get transferred over, you can click on an individual data to transfer it over.,

2. Data Insights and Additional Features — Admin Panel,

   • Introducing a new permission called "Data Administrator". This permission will manage the data within a community and allows users to access the Data Migration page or the Data Insights tab.,

   • We have introduced our new tab: "Data Insights". This tab will consist of providing the data for your community such as Civilians, Vehicles, Calls, and Reports. Data Administrators will have the ability to delete data within the community and only the subscription holder will have the ability for a "Delete All" button.,

   This permission is a very trusting permission. Once your data is deleted, it is gone for good. Please ensure that this permission is not handed out to someone you cannot trust. Imperial Software Solutions is not liable for any data lost within your community due to someone "nuking" your community.

   • Laws/Penal Codes have received an overhaul. They will now include the fine amount, points on license (will be used for v1.7.0), and the choice between infraction, misdemeanor, or felony. We have steered away from the Civil vs. Criminal options. Customers have also been informed about this and can reference #customer-announcements for more information.,

   • Tow Companies have been introduced. Master Administrators will be able to create new tow companies that can be utilized on Tow Sheets. All you need to provide is a name of the company and yard/location for the company.,

   Community Home,

   • Not much has changed here.. Community Key's are now hidden on load. You can click the blurred text which will copy to your clipboard.,

   • Re-worked the setup wizard new clients will go through.,

   • Leaving a community has now moved to the "Portal" page. There will be a 3 dot icon next to the community when you hover over it in the event you would like to leave a community.,

   Law Enforcement MDC,

   • If you are only in one Law Enforcement department, the dropdown will automatically fill with said department.,

   • Fixed a bug where when you pull up a firearm return and clicked the name of the person, it would not auto-fill the information inside of the Name Search.,

   • Officers are able to export reports that are on a person's or vehicle's record.,

   • All searches for Name, Vehicle, and Firearm should work as intended. Audio is a bit iffy; we are currently looking for an alternative.,

   • Officers are able to suspend or revoke licenses temporarily until v1.7.0 with the judicial panel. They need to either provide an end of suspension date or reasoning for revocation.,

   Civilian Page,

   • When creating a civilian, we have now offered the option to put a state's abbreviation. This means you can create "out-of-state" characters. For example, I want to create a character that lives in North Carolina. I would enter "NC" under the state abbreviation option. This will also be available when editing a character.,

   • When creating a vehicle, it will be the same as above allowing "out-of-state" vehicles to be entered into your community.,

   • Driver License applications and Commercial Driver License applications now offer a "Class" option. This means you can now have a Class A CDL license or a Class M Driver's License.,

   • Civilians will no longer have access to change the status of their licenses. Officers can now set suspensions and revocations for civilian's driver's license.,

In-game Resources,

ERS (Emergency Response Simulator) Integration,

• We’ve added support for ERS integration inside the ImperialCAD FiveM Resource. This means your community can now automatically register civilians and vehicles in the CAD when certain events happen in ERS, like a callout being accepted or a traffic stop being initiated.,

• While this isn’t an official partnership, we’ve done our best to hook into the exports and events ERS provides. Because of that, some features may not be as seamless as native ERS functionality, but the important stuff like call creation and unit assignment will work. Once a callout is accepted, a call is created in CAD with the primary officer(person) attached -[Assuming there CAD account is verified]- and other officers can attach just like normal.,

• Please note: Due to how ERS triggers work, sometimes vehicle or ped (AI character) registration may be delayed until interaction (e.g., detaining or running an ID). In other cases, like traffic stops, the data becomes available as soon as the stop begins, making it nearly instant in CAD.,

ALPR Integration — API Endpoint,

• The API endpoint with the ALPR has been officially fixed.,
