What is ImperialTablet?

ImperialTablet is an in-game tablet that allows users to use our software without having to tab out of the game which could cause lag spikes on low-end computers.

Installation

1. Download and Install ImperialTablet

Make sure to install the latest version of ImperialTablet to ensure you are up-to-date on all recent changes.

2. Install ImperialTablet into your server

This is not going to be utilizing your Custom ID. That is used for members to join your community through the ImperialCAD launch page.

  1. ImperialTablet uses the community ID from the following location: Admin Panel > Customization > Community ID. ImperialTablet will utilize a convar command and should be setup at the top of your server.cfg. This will look like the following:

setr imperial_community_id "COMMUNITY_ID_HERE"

  1. If you have already added this from another plugin, you can safely skip the step above. If your server does not have the convar command setup, ImperialTablet will return an error inside of the console.

  2. Make sure to ensure ImperialTablet inside of your server configuration or where all your ensured resources are located.

3. All Done!

ImperialTablet is ready to be used! Check the usage tab below to understand how to use the tablet.

Opens the ImperialTablet. This value is configurable inside your FiveM keybinds located in GTAV Settings > Keybinds > FiveM

Known Issues

Black Screen when selecting Login with Discord

This is unfortunately an issue that will happen with any NUI inside of FiveM. Discord's OAuth has disabled any iframe requests which is what ImperialTablet is utliizing. You can use the method below to workaround the issue.

Link your Discord created account to ImperialCAD

When you created your ImperialCAD account using discord, it never stored nor created a password for the account. Follow the steps below to set a password onto your account.

  1. Launch ImperialCAD on a web browser

  2. Log out of ImperialCAD

  3. Click Login and enter in your email you used to create your discord account with.

  4. Select Forgot Password? and check your inbox. If it is not in your inbox, check your spam/junk folders.

  5. Click the link in your email and create a new password. Make sure both of the inputs are the same value.

  6. Click Reset Password and allow the software to re-direct you back to the ImperialCAD launch page.

  7. Done! You should be logged in with that account and now you have successfully created yourself a password. You can use this email and password to login into the tablet in-game and will be stored in your nui-storage folder in your FiveM Application Data

You will still able to utilize the Login with Discord button on the Desktop Application and on the website.
